Homelessness refers to individuals and families who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence[1]. This includes people sleeping outside, in cars or abandoned buildings, as well as those staying in emergency shelters or transitional housing.

On a single night in 2023, at least 653,104 people experienced homelessness in the United States[5]. Throughout 2020, an estimated 1,253,000 people used emergency shelters or transitional housing programs at some point during the year.

The main reason people become homeless is because they cannot find affordable housing[5]. Other contributing factors can include chronic health conditions, domestic violence, job loss, and systemic inequality.

Our approach focuses on:
1. Increasing the supply of affordable housing
2. Providing rapid re-housing assistance
3. Connecting people to employment opportunities
4. Offering supportive services for mental health, substance use, etc.
5. Preventing homelessness through eviction prevention programs

We partner with companies of all sizes to engage their employees in volunteer activities, fundraising campaigns, and more. Contact us to discuss partnership opportunities.
